When putting together a plant palette, there are many factors to consider - the right vibe, the right water use, sun and shade, what wildlife the plant will attract or deter, what facets of the architecture it will highlight or mitigate, and more. We design our planting plans hand-in-hand with the irrigation plan and MWELO-compliant water use calculations to ensure success for years to come.
We start with a conversation about the overall project goals and major constructed elements of the space. We’ll outline a scope of services and advise which local agencies will need to review and approve the project, as well as any consulting architects or engineers that would need to be involved. Every project is custom and our approach guarantees that all parties begin the project with the right expectations.

Typical packages include:
Hardscape Plan - includes constructed elements such as walkways, patios, fire features, water features, swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, play areas, gates, walls, fences, etc.
Planting Plan - includes all plant materials
Low-voltage Outdoor Lighting Plan - Dark Sky compliant when required by City agencies
Irrigation Design Plan & Water Use Calculations - meets State of California requirements
When required, Fuel Modification plans are also prepared in-house to comply with the latest City and County updates from the Fire Departments. We also work hand-in-hand with Low Impact Development (LID) designers as needed to ensure compliance with codes.
